Just For Life's 1st ever Fundraiser, Naomi from NSW, tells us how easy it was... 

"It was really easy to register on the Just For Life website - I had a look at the different charities and all the activities you can choose from, then emailed Just For Life saying I was interested. I was sent a pack in the mail a few days later and it was full of information about the Brain Foundation and ideas for raising the target amount.

I chose the Brain Foundation because they fund vital research into areas like cerebral palsy, Alzheimer's disease, migraines, autism and ADHD, some of which have touched my family. 
 

I was living in Newcastle at the time, so I raised most of the money there through donations and a charity screening of The Devil Wears Prada. The charity screening was surprisingly easy to organise. It was held at Showcase City Cinema with great support and advice from the staff there. I chose the movie I wanted and the date, then designed some flyers and tickets and sold all the tickets to my family, friends and colleagues. I then organised some lucky door prizes: six copies of the book that the movie was based on (donated by Harper Collins) and two beauty pamper packs (donated by Avon). Some friends also brought along wine and nibbles to share with everyone. The screening was held on opening night and we had a great time. “
